As of 11 a.m. Friday, there have been 470,386 positive cases of the coronavirus recorded in the state. The case count includes 465,030 Florida residents and 5,356 non-Florida residents. There are 6,843 Florida resident deaths reported, 123 non-resident deaths and 26,533 hospitalizations, according to the Florida Department of Health.
There have been 3,633,393 tests administered in Florida. A total of 470,386 tests have come back positive, and 3,157,702 tests have come back negative. The remainder are still pending or inconclusive, according to the FDOH website.

DeSoto County: 1,264 (up from 1,251) – 14 deaths
Glades County: 389 (unchanged) – 3 deaths
Hendry County: 1,632 (up from 1,618) – 36 deaths (1 new)
