There were four new cases of COVID-19 reported in Crawford County on Sunday.
The Department of Health said in its data release that the county now has had 66 cases of coronavirus since early March.
The county has had 32 cases reported by the state since June 19.
In the latest ZIP code data, the state says Meadville (16335) has had 16 confirmed cases and nine probable cases of coronavirus since March. On Thursday, the state said those totals were 11 confirmed cases and nine probable cases. Also on Sunday, the state’s ZIP code data for Cochranton (16314) listed nine confirmed cases, up one from eight on Thursday.
There have been 2,724 negative tests in the county, an increase of 28 from Saturday.
The DOH confirmed cases tied to two long-term facilities in Crawford County last week, the first report of COVID-19 in long-term care facilities in the county since the state started tracking the virus. Two workers at a facility or facilities have tested positive and and one resident of a facility has tested positive.
Since the state started tracking the coronavirus, Erie County has had 650 cases, Mercer County 154, Venango County 27 and Warren County seven.
